I would like to congratulate all of my reading students for the hard work and dedication to the THJH competition. I wish you could've all won and award because in our eyes you are all winners!!! We had some great projects submitted! WAY TO GO THJH SAWYER DOLPHINS!
I would like to congratulate the following students on their win at THJH Competition on Friday.
Carson Herron's Railroad Watch and
Mitchell Foreman's Standing Timber Ledger are both winners in the Artifact Contest.
Shelby Austin won first place in the Industrial/Commercial Buildings Photography Contest with Weeksville Ginning Company.
Lauren Luther placed 2nd in Industrial/Commercial Buildings Photography with Eastern Carolina Feed & Seed and 3rd place with Auger from Eastern Carolina Feed & Seed.
Emily Romanovich placed 3rd in Institutional/Public Buildings Photography Contest with Christ Episcopal Church, Elizabeth City.
Anna Cherry placed second in the multimedia for her project titled Baptist Burial Ground.
Carson Herron honorable mention for his essay on Pepsi Cola Company.

EOG's will be May 20- May 23. Please remember to get PLENTY of sleep this week. A rested brain is a happy brain.
TARHEEL JUNIOR HISTORIAN -Thanks for all your hard work. The projects were excellent. The students worked extremely hard on their papers and I look forward to seeing the release of the winners from the NC Museum of History.
