Mr. Walker's Art

WELCOME TO VISUAL ARTS!

Welcome students and parents to the Pin Oak Middle School's Visual Arts Department. During the 2014 – 2015 school year. I will keep you informed of major events and class assignments during the school year. This year the students will participate in an exciting visual arts educational program that will help in the development and understanding of the art elements and art principles. Additionally, the students will explore traditional and contemporary/modern artworks, artists, and local and international cultures. More importantly, the students will know and understand that visual arts play a vital role in education and in learning.
