| WELCOME TO VISUAL ARTS! |
Welcome students and parents to the Pin Oak Middle School's Visual Arts Department. During the 2012 – 2013 school year, I will keep you informed of major events and class assignments during the school year.
This year the students will participate in an exciting visual arts educational program that will help in the development and understanding of art elements and the art principles. Additionally, the students will explore artworks, artists, and local and international cultures.
More often than not, visual arts play a vital role in education and in learning. Visual arts will also encourage the students to think creatively, imaginatively, and academically. I look forward to meeting you at Open House on Wednesday, September 5, 2012.
