Period 1
The purpose of this course is to provide opportunities for students to study concepts of life, earth/space, and physical sciences, and their applications to everyday life. This is the first course in a three-year course sequence that also includes the successful completion of M/J Comprehensive Science 2 (200401001) and M/J Comprehensive Science 3 (2002100) in the final year. The goal of the Comprehensive Science course series is to give exposure to a variety of science disciplines through participation in exploratory experiences and activities.



Requirements include, but are not limited to, the benchmarks from the Sunshine State Standards that are most relevant to this course. Inquiry based learning and process oriented activities are incorporated throughout the curriculum.
 

Period 2
