| 7/8 Reading or Learning Strategies

| This course is a structured reading class for seventh and eighth graders. We focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary enhancement, and several other aspects crucial to improve reading skills. The students in these classes will be tested by the state of Mississippi with the MCT2. As a parent of two children myself, I encourage you to view the Mississippi Department of Education's website to see the Item Specifications for Language Arts 7th and 8th grades. With the high stakes testing that our children are facing before graduation, it is imperative that our children master these skills early on. |
