| This course is for any senior interested in preparing himself or herself for college level reading and writing. The literature covered in this course spans over many decades and many topics. We read one novel per nine weeks, which include the following: Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger, Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, and finally teacher's choice. These novels are subject to change depending on what is in the best interest of the class. |
