Students who auditioned for the Truman Children's Choir on Tuesday, September 8th should stay after school on Monday, September 14th and report to the Music Room from 3:45 - 5:30 P.M. They should bring a HEALTHY snack and water bottle with them.
Students who have NOT auditioned yet may audition on Monday, September 14th by reporting to the Music Room from 3:45 - 5:30 P.M. They should also bring a HEALTHY snack and water bottle with them to this audition. This will be the LAST day to audition for 1st semester.
All of the these students who stay after school on September 14th should be picked up in the BACK PARKING LOT at 5:30 P.M. Please do NOT go to the front parking lot as the Music Room is located at the BACK of the building. Thank you for your help with this!

The 1st Grade Concert will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010, at 7:00 P.M.
ALL 1st grade students are needed and expected to be at this performance as it is a part of their grade for their grade card.

Auditions for the Truman Elementary Children's Choir for 2009 - 2010 will be held on Tuesday, September 8th from 3:45 - 5:30 P.M. in the Music Room. All 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be receiving information regarding auditions.
The Truman Elementary Children's Choir is open to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who desire an additional opportunity in choral performance. Rehearsals are held every Monday from 3:45 to 5:30 P.M. Members are expected to be at every rehearsal and performance. When a student must be absent due to illness or family emergency, please notify Ms. K of their absence before it occurs, if possible, or by 24 hours after their absence. You can email or phone in their absence with the email address and phone number provided to you in the introductory letter. There is also a link to my email up above on the left side of this page. Failure to report absences will result in the singer receiving an unexcused absence. A singer will be dismissed from the choir when they accumulate their 2nd unexcused absence.
Concert attire for all concerts is blue jeans (these must be blue and made out of denim), a Choir t-shirt (this will need to be purchased at the 1st rehearsal), and tennis/athletic shoes.
