This course is an elective open primarily to juniors and seniors. Students will discuss, research, and debate controversial current issues. There will be a focus on daily news stories affecting world, national, state, and local levels.

World History is for students who are interested in the development of civilization from its origins in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. The classic ages of Greece, Rome, India, and China are included, continuing on to medieval and modern times.
