Welcome to Stockwell Science 2009-2010!
Welcome! This website is set up to help you keep track of important due date and assignments. I will try to keep links to most of the documents that you receive in class for when you "forget" something or are absent.

Did talking about Rice Krispy Treats in class make you hungry? Make some at home and bring to class:

The recipe is in the "Class Downloads" section of this site.

To find class-related information, click on your class. You may need to browse the "past" to find what you're looking for.

Grades will eventually be available on this site.

Biology 19 Period 7
Biology 19 is an honors-level class which covers the same core curriculum as that covered in biology 17 and 15. In addition to the basic curriculum, students are exposed to supplemental material through extension and enrichment activities. As a result, students can expect additional assignments such as advanced readings, projects and written work. Students must be skilled at independent work, organization, critical thinking and managing due dates.

UPCOMING DUE DATES:

Monday, 10/5: Nat. Geo. Deadly Contact Questions due

Tuesday, 10/6: Pathogens Quiz

Marine Biology Period 2
Welcome to Marine Biology! I hope you enjoy this half-year overview of marine science. There has never been a more important time to learn about the ocean. Seeing as it covers 3/4 of the Earth's surface, produces 2/3 of the Earth's oxygen and houses 90% of the Earth's animals, it can easily be argued that "saving the Earth" begins with saving the ocean! Truth is, we can't save what we don't understand and appreciate...that's where I come in.

My goal is to introduce you to as many aspects of ocean life and current issues as possible in the short time we have, in order to help you develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of this massive collection of ecosystems. If there's ever anything that you'd like to learn more about, just speak up...if I can work it into our curriculum, I will!
