Throughout this 18-week course, students will get practical knowledge of different cultures, history, geography as well as learn some basic phrases. This course is designed to give students critical background knowledge needed for future success in Spanish I.

Students will work in class (and possibly at home) on an ABC picture book featuring the Spanish alphabet and related picture. It will be a Spanish version of an "A is for Apple" type book. Finished book is due on October 16th.

This open-note exam will cover information presented in class on Spain, Guinea Ecuatorial, the Caribbean islands, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua. It will also cover vocabulary learned.
