Welcome to 8th Grade Science.
Science is a way of learning about the natural world. Students should know how science has built a vast body of changing and increasing knowledge described by physical, mathematical, and conceptual models, and also should know that science may not answer all questions.

Extra credit will be given to students attending the exhibit Body Worlds 2 at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. To receive credit the student must present:
1. The exhibit ticket stub from the museum.
2. A 3 paragraph paper explaining what they learned by attending the exhibit, what they thought of the exhibit, and what part of the exhibit they liked best and explain why they liked that particular part.
