The Concert Choir is a singing group open to all students in grades 9-12. This choir will continue to build upon and apply the vocal skills and music reading skills acquired in earlier choral experiences. The Concert Choir is the primary performing group of the high school program. Students will sing arrangements both accompanied and a capella. There are three required concerts throughout the year,
plus a performance at the Veteran’s Day program, graduation and large group contest. Small ensembles are available to students who wish to devote more time to singing. Participation in the District Solo/Ensemble contest is strongly encouraged but not required.
Prerequisite: Students must audition with the Instructor.

Seventh and Eighth Grade Choir is open to all students in these grades with an interest in or a curiosity about singing. Students will study sight-singing and continue note reading. They will sing a variety of musical styles, from classical to pop, incorporating movement when appropriate. Students will also learn how to become better singers, while having fun! This choir performs at three concerts a year.
