After four years I have decided to part ways with HCCA. I hope you all have a great 2013-14 school year and a wonderful high school experience. You may reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org
My personal statement/ vision for teaching through the social sciences: "It is not that history repeats itself, its that human nature does not change", is how a favorite college professor used to begin his history class. I would argue that human nature can be improved through the study of the social sciences. It is essential to every human being to pursue their interests in life while having the strength to be an individual. The study of the social sciences is not the memorizing of names, dates, and places but understanding the concepts and the process of inquiry.
