Ceramics and Sculpture are a passion of mine.

An exploration of handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques using clay as the primary medium. Coiling, slab-building, sculpting, pinching, and throwing on the potters' wheel will all be taught.

A second-level ceramics course aimed at extending knowledge of form and design. Students have greater flexibility in the techniques they use to create the assigned projects. Mid-range clays will be used, and special firing techniques explored.

Sculpture class is designed to let students explore the infinite possibilities of three-dimensional media such as wire, clay, foam, plaster, paper mache, wood, and even tape. In this class we will learn about and create non-functional sculptures, ranging from realistic to abstract to non-objective.

This class is designed for students who want to beautify their surroundings through art. We will create functional works of art, ranging from mosaics, recycled paper bowls, woven objects, basketry, bookmaking, printmaking, tie dyed fabrics and more.
