conditional sentences
updated September 27, 2012
Real conditional sentences have an if clause and a main clause. Use a simple present verb in the if clause, and a simple present verb in the clause, if the statement is true. Use a simple future verb in the main clause if the event might happen in the future. CONDITIONAL SENTENCES If you go to the dentist regularly, you avoid cavities. If it rains this afternoon, we will stay home.
