Welcome to Greensboro Middle School and the beginning of something new! I am excited about having your child in my Advanced Computer Applications class. I am confident in knowing that your child and I will experience nine months of wonderful and rewarding learning experiences.

Because we (teachers, parents, and community members) are all partners in the education of our children, your constant interest will play a vital part in your child's learning success.

In this web site, I will be posting descriptions of our units of study and the various activities and projects that are designed to help students gain knowledge and master related skills. TECHNOLOGY COURSES

The integration of technology enhances middle school students’ emerging abilities to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information. Students can use productivity/multimedia tools to demonstrate and communicate curriculum concepts to audiences more effectively. Students can also evaluate the accuracy, comprehensiveness, and bias of electronic information sources concerning real-world problems.

Computer Applications Advanced 7
2nd Period, Advanced 7th Grade

This course focuses on learning advanced computer applications. The workload involves the creation, generation, and development of advanced/integrated word processing documents/publications as well as online workgroup collaboration and inter-application document integration. Students will utilize their knowledge of these skills to create documents, web graphics, and much more. Infused into the daily curriculum will be the basics of keyboarding while learning to increase typing speed.
