Thanks for taking a look at our class website. My name is Mrs. George, and I teach first grade. I have taught first graders for six years and have been a teacher at Green Run Elementary School for fourteen years. I look forward to working with you and your child this school year. It will be an exciting year as you watch your child grow from September to June. Buckle up for our first grade roller coaster ride to learning!

Memorial Day

No School due to Memorial Day! Be sure to honor those men and women who have served our country in time of war. Be sure to thank those who have fought in wars and those who are fighting in warright now. We should all be thankful for their service.

CiCi's Pizza Night

Help show your support for the PTA by eating at CiCI's Pizza tonight between 4 and 9 p.m. and turn in your receipt. Our PTA receives 10 % of all sales. Show your support and feed your family and friends.

Our monthly PTA fundraiser helps the PTA with programs for our kids and fills your tummy too! What a cool deal! Plan on attending between 3 - 9 p.m. and tell them you are from Green Run Elementary School so the PTA gets a percentage of the sales! Invite your family and friends to join you! Every student who attends gets a ticket to put my name on for seeing which class has the best participation- show your support and help us win a pizza party!!! Yum! Yum!
Santa Workshop

The annual PTA shopping event is this week of December 3 - 8. Let your children go shopping for family members and get a little something special for you! Look for notices coming home! Have your child earn some extra cash to spend by doing EXTRA chores around the house or yard!
