Welcome to Ms. Garner's Third Grade Class. Thanks for checking out our website. We are an amazing class. We always work hard and show respectful behavior. Check out some of our activities and the exciting things we have learned.
In Social Studies, we will be learning about the continents and oceans. We will be making globe pinatas to show our understanding of world geography.
In Science we are learning about the prairie. Students will learn about the different plants and animals that live in the prairie as well as prairie ecosystems and food chains. We will be researching and experimenting with various parts of the prairie.
In math, students made "Math About Me" posters. They had a lot of fun learning about themselves and how math is in their lives all the time. We have also been discussing ordinal numbers and place value.
In reading, we are continuing to read our story of the week and completing many activities to go along with it.
In writing, we wrote completed, "Shades of Summer," which is about an event we had over the summer. These projects turned out great!
