This website is maintained by Fara T. Faust, Computer Resource Specialist. Information on this website will pertain to the area of Instructional Technology at W.T. Cooke Elementary School.
The mission of the educational technology program is to enable, encourage, and support the effective integration of technology as a tool for teaching and learning. The Computer Resource Specialist works as a team with the Library Media Specialist to facilitate and assist teachers with the effective integration of the State Computer/Technology SOL and Virginia Beach Student Technology Proficiencies.

W.T. Cooke School has a computer lab with 25 flat screen computers. The lab is visited by every student in the building each week. Students are taught basic technology skills are they utilize software and create curricilum based projects.
