Dear 7th Grade Families,
Welcome to our 7th grade Language Arts Website! I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Blair Tucker and I am honored to be your child's 7th grade Language Arts teacher. I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach your child. This is my first year as a teacher. I had the privilege of completing my student teaching with Vicki Hamrick here at Veteran's Memorial Middle School last year.
I am looking forward to working with you and your child and helping him/her reach his/her full potential. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead. Please check the website weekly to find out what your child will be doing in his/her Language Arts class each week.
I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You can send me a note, email me at btucker@mcsdga.net or call me at (706) 748-3203 and leave a message with the school office. I will also do my part by sending out a progress report each week to keep you updated on your child’s progress. For individual concerns, I will contact you by phone, send a note home, or email you (if an email address is provided).
