It is hard to believe it is already May! During the month of May we will be learning many new things.
In reading an language arts, we are reading fiction and non-fiction books and writing book reviews. We are also learning to discuss literature. We will also be reading many biographies. We will learn how to research a topic and write on that topic.
In math, we are working on adding two digit numbers. We will be focusing on word problems and logical reasoning skills as well.
In science we have just started learning about Egypt. The children will be doing many hands on projects and activities. I have encouraged the children to look up additional information on the internet at home if they can. They are very interested in Egypt!
