Sixth Grade Science Message Board
Sixth grade science is not all fun and games, but it will sure feel like it! Why does school seem to be boring when learning can be so much fun? We will have tons of fun with science activities this year. From CSI investigations to building a solar power match car, these activities are just examples of what you will experience in sixth grade science this year! So buckle up and get ready for an exciting year of science. Here are a few things you will learn and know this year.

1. How to conduct a scientific investigation utilizing appropriate process skills.
2. Analyze chemical and physical changes and interactions involving energy and forces that affect motion of objects.
3. Explain the organization of living things, the flow of matter and energy through ecosystems, the diversity and interactions among populations, and the natural and human-made pressures that impact the environment.
4. Establish connections among Earth's layers including the lithosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere.
