Our weekly theme is "Where Animals Live". The words will have the "sh/th" blends at the beginning and end of the words.
We will continue to find the main idea and details of the stories. We will be reading several stories about animals and their homes. We will practice using the words with the "th/sh" blends in the stories.
In grammar, we will introduce the irregular plural nouns; man-men.
Our writing will be our response to a story and then reporting on animal homes.
In math, we will continue with subtraction and telling time. We will be estimating the capacity of containers, draw a pictures to solve problems, and identify even numbers.
We will finish our Thanksgiving unit using the computer for information and fun activities. |
