Welcome to Mrs. Palkovic's First Grade
This week's theme is "What Scientists Do".
We will be focusing on Ben Franklin and his inventions. The little books are of different scientists and their contributions.
We will be working on the long "e" words that are spelled with the letters, "e, ee, ea".

Our spelling words are: me, we, feed, keep, seat, beak, friends, knew.

In grammar, we will practice when to use the verbs "see and saw", in a sentence.
We will practice reading words with endings, such as, "ed, ing".

Math will include identifying the missing addend, comparing the size of the unit and the number of units need to measure an object, drawing congruent shapes and designs, and measuring and drawing line segments to the inch.

Have a blessed week,
Mrs. Palkovic
