Welcome!
We will start the school year with the Theme of Messages. We will start with "If Walls Could Talk" in 3rd grade, "Hidden Messages" in Still Life with 1st and 2nd grade; and "Messages in Mosaics" with 4th and 5th grade.
We will have Art Club and Photography Club this year! All 4th and 5th grade students are welcome to apply. Art Club will be the first 1/2 of the year. Students can get applications from Ms. Lynch in art.
Ms. Lynch is a late career teacher.She graduated from George Mason University with a BA, worked at the National Gallery of Art in publications.
She worked in the graphics field with local publishing companies until she found that she loved teaching art to kids.
Ms. Lynch has been at W. T. Cooke since 2001. She worked on the VBCPS Art Curriculum revision committee this past year.
