SPEECH THERAPY DEFINITIONS:
Articulation- The manner in which speech sounds are produced
Phonemic Awareness- Understanding of the proper manner in which a phoneme is produced, understanding the proper placement of a phoneme in a word or group of words, and producing the most common sound associated with a phoneme
Language- Vocabulary development, sentence structure, appropriate use of language, etc.
Fluency Disorders- Stuttering
Voice Disorders- Appropriate pitch, loudness and/or vocal quality
