I am honored and excited to have your child in my first grade class. My approach to helping children learn involves tapping into their strengths and interests and providing a wide variety of learning opportunities. As a parent myself, I understand how special your child is and am always asking myself, "What is best for this child?" I know your child is going to enjoy learning and growing in Room 9.
This is my seventh year working at Silver Gate and I enjoy sharing my experiences, insights and ideas to create a rich program for my students. I have been teaching for 16 years and have taught primary grades as well as a journalism lab. I enjoy spending time with my family and taking photographs to make scrapbooks. I am married to Glenn and I have two sons, Clint, a 13-year-old in seventh grade, and Sean, a 8-year-old in second grade.
Please feel free to visit our classroom and volunteer. I welcome your participation in cultivating this year's classroom environment.
