| We have an exciting year planned for all the children at Cooke Elementary. Second grade will be so much fun this year! We will make new friends, play new games and learn new things. I can't wait to share our fun learning times with you. We will study Ancient Civilizations and current conditions in America. You will publish your own writing and read many new books. We will have Clifford, Authur, and Magic Treehouse Clubs. We will preform reader's theater. We will learn new math skills, and do interesting experiments in science.
