| About the Teacher and Class |
This will be my 9th year teaching 1st grade. For 7 years, I have been a part of this great Cooke family. I love this grade level because the kids grow so much academically and behaviorly. First graders will know how to read chapter books and write multi-sentence paragraphs by the end of the year. They learn to think independently yet work collaboratively with their peers. Lots of what we do involves a team effort. These skills of working together will be learned and mastered by the students. Kids love learning and exploring new topics with their classmates. I look foward to an exciting school year filled with lots of smiles and tons of learning.

1st Day of 1st Grade!

| On the 1st day of school, please send your child in the morning the usual way they will be coming to school. It's best to get the routine started on the 1st day. |
