Welcome to the W. T. Cooke Elementary Music Department Homepage!
We offer exciting, interactive music instruction that utilizes computers, Orff musical instruments, Kodaly rhythm training, Dalcroze movement, and proper vocal training. Fifth Grade has their class at 9:30 AM Tuesday through Friday. Bennett is on Tuesday, Peters is on Wednesday, Letourneau is on Thursday, and Gardina is on Friday. Each class time is forty minutes.

First Grade has their class at 1:20 PM Monday through Friday. Orr is on Monday, Nelson is on Tuesday, Lichty is on Wednesday, Lawver is on Thursday, and H. Thomas is on Friday. Each class time is forty minutes.

Fifth Grade Chorus this year will begin Thursday, September 20. We will meet from 3:00 PM until 4:30 PM. For the very first time we will be meeting after school and school bus transportation home will be provided at 4:30 PM.
It will mean that we will have only two to three extra rehearsals and these will be right before concerts and major events.
I will have all calendars and letters posted on this site so parents and students will always have the up to date information needed.
