TAKS Writing
March 3, 2009
Our chance to shine as authors on the state-wide TAKS test is here! We have the whole day to fashion a great essay on the topic we are assigned. We must also exercise our revision and editing skills to answer some questions. I am confident that with concentration and effort every student will rise to the challenge do a wonderful job on this test.
3 AR tests
February 5, 2009
The first 3 AR tests for the 3rd 9 weeks grading period are due at 3:00 PM.
Remember that non-fiction must be a part of your AR reading. A book report may be substituted for one of your AR tests. Read, read, read!

Spelling test
November 7, 2008
We want to know these words not only to spell them correctly, but to be able to use them as a source of vocabulary for our own writing.
