What a fantastic time to visit with family and friends. There will be talk of times past, talk of times to come, just pleasant conversation. This is a great opportunity to share family stories. These stories will be full of characters, young and old. The scenes may be from yesterday, but they will be new to us.
Take the opportunity to write in your journal. Do it often, daily if at all possible. These memories can be a wonderful source of ideas, sights, sounds, and information when it comes time for you to write a narrative.
Remember, writing is an important part of real life. It's extra special when it comes from your life.
