| The students in this class will be exposed to reading and writing that will be beneficial to them in passing the English II state test. The English II state test is a required test that all students must pass during their sophomore year before they can graduate. The Mississippi curriculum for ninth and tenth grade are identical; therefore, their work will be similar to what they will do next year. |
