A world history course that covers the time period of the ancient world- early human settlement to the golden age of the Roman empire. For a daily agenda of assignments, please use the link to standardscore.com or see your student's agenda. For class policies and expectations, please use the link to Lone Hill's website.

If your student is absent from class have them read the entire chapter we are currently studying. Most student can do this in about 20 minutes. That will help them stay caught up. When they return to class they will receive the paper they missed and a due date on that paper to receive full credit. This allows me to give assistance on the paper that they may find difficult due to their absence.

Every Monday is a deadline for missing/late or absent work. When a student is absent, I will give them one weekend to catch up, and the paper is due that following Monday.

If a student has a delay in finishing work at home, and the paper isn't ready to turn in, the student may turn the paper in late. This automatically lowers the score to a C.  Late papers must be turned in no later than Monday of the following week to receive any credit at all. No name papers are also treated as late work, and will receive a C grade.
