Algebra 2 is a college preparatory mathematics course. We will use analytical, graphical, and numerical approaches to ensure that all students develop a conceptual framework for Algebra 2 and an appreciation for the function modeling and problem solving that is the foundation for this course. Use of graphing calculators is interwoven throughout the course. The following topics will be covered: Operations on Numbers and Expressions, Equations and Inequalities, Matrices, Polynomials and Rational Functions, Function Operations and Inverses, Exponential Functions, Logarithmic Functions.
