I am looking forward to another year at CGMS. This is my second year at Cottage Grove Middle School, but my first as a teacher in the Stirling House. I will be teaching Language Arts and Math. I hope we all have a great and productive year.

GO COUGARS

This course is designed to help improve students reading and writing skills. Some of the things we will be doing are spelling words, Grammar, speeches, and much more.

Essential Math 7 will be the 7th grade math class that goes at a slower pace. We will be using the first book from the Trans Math series.  The first book from the Trans Math series works on building number sense. 

This course is designed to provide a guided study hall for students with IEPs. Students will work to improve organizational skills, develop effective work habits, and stay current with all grade-level coursework. Students may also utilize strategies to make-up late or missing work or tests.
