It's almost time for the first day of school. I know you will love first grade! You will make many new friends and we'll have lots of fun learning together.
I can't wait to see your smiling face at Newbury School on Wednesday, September 7th, Room 23.
When you come into our classroom there will be a special hook with your name on it for you to hang your backpack. I have enclosed a fabric square for you and your family to decorate for us to get to know you: interests,hobbies, things you like to do in your spare time, special places you've gone. Please bring in the fabric on the first day so we can get to know each other and I can sew it together and create our "class quilt".
