World History
Overview
World History is the study of civilizations around the world from ancient to modern times. Trimester 1 focuses on the beginning of civilization from Mesopotamia to the early Americas. Trimester 2 focuses on the development of Europe, from Dark Ages to industrialization and imperialism. Finally, Trimester 3 pulls all of our knowledge from history together to focus on the modern world, beginning in WWI and continuing on to the present. In World Wars, we will delve deeper into the causes, results, battles, leaders, and strategies of the Great War, Interwar period, and World War II.
