LAI/RISE
Language Arts I/RISE compacts the regular language arts curriculum for identified gifted students and allows time for enrichment units, affective growth, and leadership development. Students must be self-starting and self-monitoring. Students read some material from the regular course curriculum. Students use difficult and complex reading material from curriculum developed for gifted students. Summer reading is required.
Honors LAII/RISE

RISE Seminar
RISE Seminar is designed for identified gifted juniors and seniors for individual exploration as well as collaborative work. It is designed to be flexible to student learning interests and needs. Reasoning skills will be emphasized in all areas of study along with leadership, collaboration, and effective communication.
