This course is designed to acquaint the students with the fundamentals of desktop publishing using a step-by-step approach. The Internet will be used for researching popular desktop designs. The students will be able to create professional quality publications including office documents, newsletters, magazine covers, CD jackets, brochures and catalogs. The Adobe Creative Suite 2 including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator will be used to create graphic designs for multimedia productions. All lessons will be done with a hands-on approach in a fun and learning environment.
