ESR stands for English and Strategic Reading. This class is designed to give students focused instruction in reading and writing, emphasizing specific strategies designed to improve students reading and writing abilities. The class reads a variety of literature genres including short stories, non-fiction texts, and supplemental novels. Students in ESR 4 will be prepared for the next level of English after they have succesfully completed this class.
