An Invitation to Meet Me
I have an introductory Powerpoint document and a welcome letter attached here for you to get to know me and what I do.
Concert Band - Advanced
Audition Required
The music performed in this ensemble is of the highest High School level out there. It is meant to challenge the ensemble and to grow as musicians. Also, this ensemble usually does a small tour of the area and participates in both clinics and the annual ISSMA contest.
Concert Band - Intermediate
No Audition Required
This is a band built for working on the fundamentals of band playing. Here, many students are Freshmen just learning the ropes, and many other students study a secondary instrument here just for fun. This band participates yearly in the ISSMA contest. Some helpful resources: Woodwind and Brasswind Quinlan and Fabish Some helpful resources specifically for percussionists: Steve Weiss The Percussion Source

Also, this would enable these students to practice at home, which would be great for them to learn musical independence. Induction Loop System - This would work great for students with a hearing impairment. With this system, I could loop what we were doing directly to the student's hearing aid, which would make them hear equally to the other band members. |
