WELCOME TO THE MANCAVE..
Hi, I am Mr. Wysocki and I teach a variety of Physical Education and Health classes at the High School level. I attended Thornwood High School and Valparaiso University. I plan to go on to graduate school to get my masters and become a football coach. Nice meeting you, take a look on my page and introductory power point if you would like to learn more about me!
As a teacher, I have tremendous expereince in using powerpoint. All throughout undergraduate school, I did a lot of my projects and presentations while using powerpoint because, not only did it make the presentation run smoother, it was much neater and presentable to the students and professors. From this, I will be using powerpoint for much of my class and all the lessons I present to my students. I also will be using the test generator to assist me in creating tests for the students. Using this type of technology allows me to keep the tests organized and neat for the students while allowing students to feel relaxed while taking their test because it makes learning more fun. The electronic grade book will also be a good tool for me to use because it keeps my messy desk organized and clean for student's grades. It also allows the students, as well as their parents, to view the progress of their son/daughter and how they are doing in the classroom. These technologies, as well as others, will be some of the things I will be using while helping your students succeed in the classroom. I will also be using two types of assistive technology in my classes for students with special needs. For my health and Physical Education classes, I will have the touch screen for students to place their fingers to enter data or make selections. With the touch screen, it displays different options for students in a graphic button form. This is good for students who are taking a multiple choice test and need the assistance. The other type of assistive technology I will use is Braille key labels for computers. This will help students who are visually impaired be able to read and write just as other students are so they can have the same type of success as everyone else.
