Creative problem-solving is a basic skill and a good sense approach to modern day living and learning. It provides for a broad range of thinking processes. It serves as a model for artistic expression, scientific investigation, and social inquiry. It is also a model for improving relationships, dealing with social uncertainties, and reducing stress that individuals sometimes experience.
Creative problem-solving is a way of thinking and behaving. Much like other thinking processes creative problem-solving can be learned, experienced, and applied. CPS follows a six-step method. The six steps are inter- related with one step leadung to the next.

The Public Speaking class introduces students to basic techniques in public speaking and debating. If you initially are uncomfortable about public speaking or are not sure you have the ability to speak and debate in public, you are in good company - most people are very nervous about public speaking. The best way to overcome this fear is to practice. With practice and dedication, you can become an accomplished speaker and debater.
