Elementary Bands
The LLA Elementary offers students two bands: the 5th grade and the 6th grade band.

The 5th grade band is a beginning band offered to all beginning 5th grade students. Parents must make an appointment with Mr. Santos to choose an instrument. To help maintain a balanced band, parents should not start a student on an instrument without first consulting with Mr. Santos. This band performs twice a year.

The 6th grade band is the second year elementary band. This ensemble is design to help students get ready for the junior high ensembles and continues practice on : technique, intonation, balance, scales, rhythm, sight-reading, and overall musicality.

Junior High Ensembles
The LLA Junior High offers students four bands: the Junior High Band and the JH Wind Ensemble.
The JH Band is offered to all students in the junior high that have had at least two years of band experience.

One of the yearly highlight for this band is the band competition and selected church service performances for the wind ensemble and chamber ensemble selected from this group.

The LLA Junior High also offers chamber groups, such as sax quartets, clarinet quartets, percussion ensembles, and brass quintets for students to join.
