COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course investigates the major ideas of algebra from a more theoretical point of view than in Algebra I 15. Students study the properties of rational and irrational numbers and the language of
algebra. Equations, inequalities, functions, graphs and systems of equations are modeled using graphing technology and these ideas are used to solve challenging problems involving measurement, geometry,probability and statistics. |
