Class Tips:
**Ask questions!
**Do not leave blanks--ever! (it is better to take an educated guess...you might be right!)
**When answering essay/open response questions, always answer in "4D" format (define, discuss, detail, diagram)
**Always do your notes in Cornell-style (2 column) format
Test-Taking Tips:
1. Do not be discouraged by "big words" and/or "large phrases"--these are just devices used to sound important and/or intimidate the reader...remember your prefix, suffix, and root sheet...EVERYTHING CAN BE SIMPLIFIED
2. Do not be intimidated by a question with a lot of words/extra information...simplify the question--these are usually your EASY questions...PLUS, they may contain information that can assist you in answering questions later on in the test!
3. Charts, graphs, pictures are EASY...always answer those questions
4. Read questions carefully: beware of "ALWAYS", "NEVER", and "EXCEPT"
