How May I Help You?
My name is Lisa Johnson and I am the Home to School Communicator for grades six through twelve. My job is to bridge the gap between school and home, to assist in ensuring your child's success. The purpose of MAC Scholars is to encourage minority students at MMS and MHS to do their best academically while assisting one another reach their potential. The program also seeks to build a network and support system, build positive relationships and bring awareness of college and career options. Other goals of this program are to increase accademic achievement and parental involvement while decreasing the achievement gap as students strive for success in today's society. Any students in grades 8-12 with a 2.8GPA or above are encouraged to join. Meetings are every Tuesday afternoon until 4pm in the high school IMC.
