This library skills class will help Engish II students locate short stories, novellas, literary criticism, complimentary genres and artistic expressions focusing on the same themes.
RELEVANT WEBSITES Classic Short Stories 10 Short Stories for Students LOCATING SHORT STORIES !. Use the library catalog to locate short stories in the library. 2. Look up short stories on line in the Google Advance Search mode. 3. Use Novelist Plus. EXAMINE YOUR OPTIONS TO MOVE FORWARD. 1. Decide if you're looking a three short stories by the same author to examine a common social issue this author explores. (This is close to a literature review). OR 2. Study one short story and determine how that social issue exist and evolved in the present. Look at the databases for your social issues and find interesting commonality and contrasts. (It's okay to use Sparknotes, eNotes, Bookrags and other summary resources to see what the social issues are if you can find your short story there. No harm in using them this way). There are no current calendar items.
