This online class examines a number of sources including reference, literary criticism, multimedia, indexes to help English IV students tackle Beowulf topics.mined themes.
As seniors, you've probably used Ebscohost for some of your classes. It's time to elevate your information gathering skills. For this assignment, use Ebscohost's Literary Reference Center, (LRC). The login procedure is the same. Choose the suggested LRC link this time. Let's also look at the dialogue of Beowulf and its theme on college campuses. That's where you headed anyway, Use the Google Directory for that. What about the theme Good vs. Evil. Or, what about using Beowulf to learn more about epic poems. You'll probably want to use Britannica Online. There is a class for this resource on this site as well. Another great online encyclopedia supplying an introduction, historical overview, themes, style, literary criticism and more is Answers.com. Use this link. As promised, I am providing a resource on literary devices. Glossary of Rhetorical and Literary Terms Don't forget to look at the print collection.
