Hello! My name is Cheryl Kellmeyer and this is my fifth year teaching at Wolf Branch Elementary! Over the past four years, I've taught Preschool, 2nd grade, 5th grade and 4th grade. I am so excited to return to the fifth grade team! I am married and have four wonderful children ages 18, 16, 14, and 11. I am a Wolf Branch parent as well as being a Wolf Branch teacher! As a result, I have a special interest in making Wolf Branch the best it can be!! I am really looking forward to a great year filled with learning and fun!

Reading:  Book Report - Read and reflect each night!

Spelling: Complete pages 45 & 46.  These are due tomorrow!

Reading:  Read "Leonardo's Horse".  Complete vocabulary page 114.  Be sure to complete the journal entry paragraph at the bottom.

Math: Study for Chapter 16 test.

Start thinking of a good "just right" book that that you would like to read for a book report.  Remember the process we use to pick "just right" books!  I will be approving books next week.  All books need to be at or above grade level in reading.  (No Diary of a Wimpy Kid books...Sorry!)  You must pick a book you have not read.  I'm excited to see all of the choices!

Science: Read "What is the Respiratory System?" worksheet.  Highlight important information.  Utilize text features. (Bold (vocab), italics,  titles, subtitles, charts, captions)
